The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber (RS55198) is engineered to deliver improved handling and performance both on and off-road. Utilizing exclusive Cross Tuned technology and Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV), this shock is custom-tuned to minimize initial impact at low speeds while maintaining firm control during aggressive maneuvers.

The twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid to ensure consistent operation in temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F. For maximum durability, it features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, along with double-welded loops at high-stress points. This nitrogen-gas pressurized shock reduces damping fade and aeration, providing a more stable ride under heavy loads.
