The RockJock Narrow Forged Johnny Joint (CE-9114N-14) is a heavy-duty rod end engineered for suspension fabricators and custom builders who demand high articulation and longevity. While common heim joints are typically limited to 22 degrees of travel, the Johnny Joint provides up to 40 degrees of unrestricted movement. The internal high-density urethane bushing encasing the inner ball offers essential cushioning, absorbing road vibration and harshness that metal-on-metal rod ends transmit directly to the chassis.
Constructed with a forged steel body and finished in gold zinc plating, this 2.5-inch diameter joint is built for durability in off-road environments. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and features a greaseable Zerk fitting. The assembly is secured by two heat-treated side washers and a heavy-duty snap ring, ensuring the internals remain seated under extreme suspension cycling.
