The RockJock Johnny Joint (CE-9114N) is a heavy-duty, narrow-body forged rod end designed for custom suspension fabricators and chassis builders. Engineered to outperform standard heim joints, the Johnny Joint provides 40 degrees of unrestricted movement while utilizing a high-density urethane bushing to absorb vibration and trail impacts. This internal cushioning reduces the harshness typically transmitted through solid rod ends without compromising durability.
Construction features a gold zinc-plated forged steel body with 2.25 inches of 1-1/4"-12 right-hand threads on the shank. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication, maintained by a built-in zerk fitting. Internals are secured by two heat-treated side washers and a heavy-duty snap ring for maximum reliability in high-articulation environments.
