The Rugged Ridge HD Tie Rod Assembly is a heavy-duty steering upgrade designed to prevent the bending and failure common with factory components when running larger off-road tires. This assembly is constructed from 1-1/4 inch ID cold-rolled steel that is pierced and drawn through dies to create a 1/4-inch wall thickness. This process results in true DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) tubing with no seams or welds to fail under stress.
This kit delivers "one-ton" steering strength in a direct bolt-on format, requiring no drilling or modifications to your stock steering knuckles. It includes heavy-duty 7/8-inch rod ends with standard tapers for a precise fit and reliable service on the trail.
