Skunk2 Hard Anodized Rear Lower Control Arms are engineered to replace worn factory units and provide precise suspension tuning for both street and race applications. Forged from aircraft-quality 2024 billet aluminum and precision CNC-machined, these arms are more than 25 percent lighter than the original equipment. The specialized I-beam and tapered design were developed through extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to eliminate twisting, bending, and internal stress risers that can lead to structural failure in inferior designs.
These arms feature low-deflection polyurethane bushings that act as bearings for a more positive suspension feel and quicker response. Unlike fixed rubber bushings, Skunk2's design allows the arm to rotate freely about the bushings to prevent tearing and un-seating. Each set includes adjustable anti-sway bar mounting holes, allowing for advanced chassis balancing and fine-tuning of the vehicle's handling characteristics.
