Skunk2 Sport Shocks are high-performance factory-replacement dampers designed for the EF-chassis Honda Civic and CRX. Unlike standard replacement shocks, these units feature shortened shock bodies and reduced shaft strokes. This configuration is specifically engineered to maintain adequate suspension travel on lowered vehicles, preventing the bottoming out and harshness often associated with using lowering springs or adjustable sleeve coilovers on factory-length shocks.
Built for durability and consistent performance, these shocks utilize a dual-tube design with a hardened, super-finished chrome-plated shaft. To improve driver feedback and response, Skunk2 includes polyurethane top hat bushings that outperform standard OE rubber. The fixed dampening is precision-valved by Skunk2 engineers to complement performance lowering springs for a balanced, controlled ride.
