The Skunk2 Thermal Throttle Body Gasket is engineered from a specialized high-temperature thermal polymer that acts as a heat shield between the intake manifold and the throttle body. By significantly reducing heat transfer and protecting against heat soak, this gasket lowers incoming air temperatures before they reach the cylinder head. Cooler air provides a denser oxygen charge for combustion, which optimizes engine efficiency and helps maximize horsepower gains.
