Fits 1992-2001 Acura Integra GS-R and Type R, 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si, and 1994-1997 Honda Civic del Sol VTEC. This kit provides the valvetrain stability and tension required for high-lift camshafts and high-RPM engine operation.
The Skunk2 Alpha Series Valve Spring and Titanium Retainer Kit (MPN 344-05-1300) features dual valve springs manufactured from Japanese-milled chrome-silicone wire. By using inner and outer springs with a slight interference fit and differing frequencies, these springs prevent valve float and maintain stability at engine speeds exceeding 10,000 RPM. The included Alpha Titanium Retainers are CNC-machined from ultrasonically inspected medical-grade titanium. Each retainer features radius-cut edges for rocker arm clearance and strategically positioned lightening grooves to reduce reciprocating mass without compromising strength.
