Engineered for high-performance Honda and Acura K20A VTEC engines, the Skunk2 Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Head Gasket (366-05-4000) provides the critical sealing required for high-compression or forced induction builds. This stopper-type gasket uses strategically placed material to enhance sealing against the extreme cylinder pressures and vibrations typical of modified engines. It is specifically designed for applications where cylinder boring has reduced the available surface area around the combustion chamber.
Constructed from precision laser-welded steel layers, this gasket features an HR-180 fluoroelastomer synthetic rubber coating for maximum flange conformability. This specialized coating ensures a leak-free seal even under severe thermal loads, with heat resistance rated up to 250°C (482°F). The multi-layer design offers increased resistance to corrosion and vibration compared to traditional composite gaskets.
