Skunk2 Alpha Series LCAs are forged from 6061-T6 aluminum, offering an ultimate tensile strength of over 42,000 PSI. These arms are 40% lighter than factory components and have been re-engineered to be 15% lighter and 7% stronger than previous Skunk2 generations. To ensure superior handling and comfort, the assembly features a hybrid bushing setup: high-load steel spherical bearings on the trailing arm side, tuned durometer elastomeric bushings on the subframe side to dampen harshness, and low-friction Delrin bushings at the shock mounting point for minimal deflection.
