Skunk2 Alpha Series Rear Lower Control Arms (LCAs) are engineered as direct-fit replacements for factory components, providing a significant suspension upgrade for both street and track-driven 1996-2000 Honda Civics. CNC machined from forged 6061 aluminum, these arms are 40% lighter than the original equipment and 11% stronger than previous Skunk2 designs. By reducing unsprung weight and increasing rigidity, these control arms improve suspension response and overall handling dynamics.

This set features a specialized bushing configuration designed to balance performance and comfort. The outboard trailing arm side utilizes a high-precision spherical bearing to eliminate twist, while the lower shock mount uses Delrin bushings for reduced friction and improved dynamic shock control. The inboard mount is fitted with a tuned durometer elastomeric bushing, providing the stiffness needed for sharp handling without the excessive noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) typically associated with race-only setups.
