Skunk2 Alpha Series Rear Lower Control Arms (LCAs) are designed as a direct-fit performance replacement for factory stamped-steel arms. Forged from 6061 aluminum and CNC-machined for precise fitment, these LCAs are 40% lighter than OEM units and 11% stronger than previous Skunk2 designs. By reducing unsprung weight and increasing rigidity, they provide sharper suspension response and improved dynamic shock control for both street and track applications.

The Alpha Series utilizes a hybrid bushing approach to balance performance with cabin comfort. The inboard side features a tuned durometer elastomeric bushing to dampen noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The lower shock mount uses Delrin bushings to minimize deflection and friction under load, while the outboard trailing arm side features a high-precision spherical bearing to eliminate bushing twist and bind during suspension travel.
