CNC machined from forged 6061 aluminum, these arms are 40% lighter than original equipment and 11% stronger than previous Skunk2 designs. To optimize handling without compromising ride quality, Skunk2 uses a unique hybrid bushing configuration. A high-precision spherical bearing on the outboard trailing arm side reduces bushing twist, while the lower shock mount utilizes Delrin bushings for minimal deflection and superior dynamic shock control. The inboard mounting point features a tuned durometer elastomeric bushing designed to dampen noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) while maintaining responsive handling.
