Skunk2 Pro Series XP (Extra Pressure) Racing Valve Spring Kits are engineered for the extreme demands of turbocharged and high-RPM Honda K-series engines. These dual valve springs utilize a slight interference fit between the inner and outer springs to damp harmonics and maintain valvetrain stability at engine speeds exceeding 11,000 RPM. The XP series provides 100 lbs of seat pressure to ensure reliable valve seating under high boost or with aggressive high-lift camshafts.

Each spring is manufactured from Japanese-milled, super-clean chrome-silicone wire. The rigorous manufacturing process includes eddy-current inspection, heat treatment, shot-peening, and chemical polishing to maximize fatigue resistance and minimize load loss over time. A specialized nitriding process provides a durable finish capable of withstanding championship-level racing conditions.
