Upgrade your vintage Jeep's suspension with the Skyjacker Softride leaf spring. Unlike standard replacement springs, Softride units are engineered from high-grade American steel and undergo a rigorous shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel with hard steel pellets at high velocities, the surface is compressed to significantly increase tensile strength. This process allows the spring to achieve maximum wheel travel and superior ride quality without sacrificing service life.
Skyjacker utilizes a tapered leaf design that extends the full length of each leaf, distributing loads more evenly and preventing the common issue of one leaf digging into the leaf above it. To further eliminate binding, these progressive multi-leaf packs feature bolt-style spring clips rather than traditional tight-bend clips, ensuring smoother articulation and reduced friction for a more consistent feel on and off the trail.
