Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a smooth, consistent ride without sacrificing durability. Each spring is constructed from high-grade American steel and features individual leaves that undergo a high-velocity shot-peening process. This compresses the steel's surface to increase tensile strength, allowing for maximum wheel travel and extended service life. Unlike standard springs that use binding C-style clips, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips to eliminate friction and ensure smooth movement.
The progressive multileaf design features tapering over the entire length of the leaf. This specific geometry creates more flex at the leaf ends and distributes loads evenly across a larger surface area, preventing leaves from digging into one another. The result is a spring pack that maintains a load capacity equal to or greater than OE while significantly improving off-road articulation and on-road comfort.
