Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide a significant upgrade in ride quality and suspension travel for your heavy-duty Dodge pickup without sacrificing essential load capacity. These progressive multileaf packs are constructed using high-grade American steel and feature a specialized shot-peening process. By bombarding the steel with hard steel pellets at high velocities, the surface is compressed to increase tensile strength, allowing for maximum wheel travel and extended component life.
Unlike standard springs that use restrictive C-style bend clips, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips to eliminate binding and friction. The leaves are tapered across their entire length to encourage more flex at the ends and distribute loads evenly, preventing the leaves from digging into one another during compression.
