Skyjacker Nitro shock absorbers are engineered to deliver consistent damping and improved handling for lifted or stock applications. By utilizing multi-stage velocity-sensitive valving, the N8083 automatically adjusts to terrain impacts, controlling the rate of suspension compression and rebound to maintain tire contact and vehicle stability. The twin-tube construction provides an extra layer of protection, ensuring that the internal pressure cylinder remains functional even if the outer body is dented by trail debris.

Designed for long-term durability, these shocks feature a 5/8-inch diameter hardened, double-chrome piston rod to resist corrosion and pitting. The included red polyurethane bushings offer superior resistance to environmental degradation compared to factory rubber, providing a firmer, more controlled feel. Each shock comes complete with a protective red boot to keep the piston rod clear of contaminants.
