Skyjacker Softride rear leaf springs are engineered to provide a 3-inch lift while maintaining superior ride quality and maximum wheel travel. These progressive multi-leaf packs are manufactured using high-grade American steel. Every individual leaf undergoes a high-velocity shot-peening process with hard steel pellets to compress the metal surface, significantly increasing tensile strength and extending the service life of the spring.

To ensure smooth operation without binding, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips instead of traditional "C" clips which can cause friction. The leafs are tapered along their entire length, allowing for increased flex at the leaf ends and more even load distribution. This tapered design prevents individual leafs from digging into one another, maintaining a consistent spring rate throughout the suspension cycle.
