Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are engineered to provide significant lift without compromising ride quality. Manufactured from high-grade American steel, each leaf undergoes a high-velocity shot-peening process with steel pellets. This treatment compresses the steel's surface, increasing tensile strength and allowing for maximum wheel travel and a longer service life compared to non-peened alternatives.
These progressive multileaf packs feature a tapered design throughout the entire length of the leaf, distributing loads more evenly and creating more flex at the leaf ends. To further reduce friction and prevent binding, Skyjacker utilizes bolt-style spring clips rather than traditional "C" style bend clips that can restrict leaf movement and cause harshness.
