SPL Parts PRO Solid Aluminum Subframe Bushings (SSB) replace the soft, compliant factory rubber bushings to eliminate unwanted movement of the subframe relative to the chassis. This rigid mounting prevents the subframe from shifting or bouncing under heavy drivetrain torque or high suspension loads, which is essential for maintaining consistent suspension geometry and significantly reducing wheel hop during hard launches.
This kit features an innovative slide-in shim system that allows enthusiasts to fine-tune the vehicle's roll center and anti-squat characteristics. By raising the subframe with the included shims, you can correct the roll center on lowered vehicles, though this increases anti-squat. Conversely, lowering the subframe decreases anti-squat. For those concerned with NVH, the kit includes optional rubber isolation washers to dampen noise transfer between the subframe and the chassis.
