The Torque Solution Thermal Turbo Blanket (TS-TB-LT4) is engineered to isolate the extreme heat generated by the turbine housing, protecting sensitive engine bay components while improving overall performance. By containing heat within the exhaust side of the turbo, this blanket maintains higher exhaust gas velocities, which can lead to faster turbo spool-up and reduced lag.
Constructed from high-temperature volcanic rock (basalt) fiber, this blanket is designed to withstand the intense thermal cycling of high-performance applications. It provides a critical barrier against radiant heat, preventing heat soak in intake components, protecting wire harnesses, and shielding fluid lines from degradation.
- Fits T4 flange turbochargers and GT35, GT37, GT40, GT45, GT47, and GT55 series units
