The Turbo XS 50/50 Hybrid Blow Off Valve (WRX08-HYB) is a vehicle-specific solution designed to provide the aggressive sound of an atmospheric vent without the drivability issues common on MAF-based engines. By recirculating a portion of the air back into the intake tract and venting the rest, this hybrid valve maintains proper fuel trims and prevents the rich-condition stalling often seen with full atmospheric valves.
Constructed to handle higher boost pressures than the factory plastic unit, this BOV protects your turbocharger from compressor surge while improving throttle response during gear changes. It is a direct-fit replacement that mounts to the factory intercooler flange.
