The Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port VR29 is a direct-replacement blow-off valve (BOV) engineered to solve the boost leak issues common in factory plastic diverter valves. By integrating a proprietary high-speed solenoid with billet aluminum mechanical internals, this valve provides the lightning-fast response of an electronic system with the durability required for high-boost applications.
The Dual Port configuration utilizes a 50/50 split flow, venting air to the atmosphere for the classic BOV sound while simultaneously recirculating air to ensure the engine management system maintains correct readings. This plug-and-play solution requires no additional vacuum hoses or external controllers, bolting directly to the factory mounting points on the 4.0L biturbo V8.
