The Turbosmart Billet Blanking Plate is specifically engineered for Borg-Warner EFR, KKK, and Mini R56 turbochargers. This precision-machined component is required when converting your turbocharger to an external blow-off valve (BOV) setup. It effectively seals the factory diverter valve port on the compressor housing, eliminating the need for the stock internal valve while providing a leak-free seal that handles high boost pressures without the risk of blow-off.
Constructed from high-grade billet aluminum, this plate replaces the OE diverter to facilitate a cleaner, more efficient intake path for those running external valves. Turbosmart includes a specialized installation tool in every package to ensure the blanking plate is seated correctly and tightened easily in the compact Mini engine bay.
