The Turbosmart Turbo Seal Constant Tension Clamp is engineered to maintain a secure, leak-proof seal across the extreme temperature swings common in high-performance engine bays. As silicone couplers and rubber hoses undergo thermal cycling, they naturally expand and contract. Standard worm-gear clamps often fail to adapt, leading to leaks or "compression set" damage. These Turbo Seal clamps utilize a convoluted "Spring Action Band" to provide constant, even pressure regardless of temperature.
This design effectively compensates for hose deformation, ensuring maximum reliability for forced induction and cooling systems. The flanged edges protect soft hose compounds from cuts or abrasion, while the dual-bead inner shell concentrates sealing force exactly where it is needed most to prevent boost leaks.
