The Turbosmart Gen-V WG40 Comp-Gate 40mm Motorsport external wastegate is engineered specifically for the extreme thermal environments of endurance racing. This Motorsport variant enhances the standard Gen-V modular architecture with a CFD-designed and real-world validated heatsink positioned between the wastegate body and the actuator. By increasing physical separation and utilizing convection-based shielding, it eliminates harmful heat soak, protecting the actuator and extending the service life of the valve and guide.

Constructed with a high-temperature 347 stainless steel body and a Nitronic 60 valve guide, the WG40 offers superior fatigue resistance and flow performance. The actuator housing is fully rotatable for easy clocking in tight engine bays, and the unit includes strap-type V-band clamps for a secure, leak-free installation on both 40mm and 44mm V-band flanges.
