This UMI Performance lowering spring kit is engineered to transform the handling dynamics of the 4th Gen GM F-Body. By dropping the front 1.25 inches and the rear 1.5 inches, this kit levels the vehicle's stance while significantly increasing spring rates to eliminate the floating sensation and excessive body roll common with factory setups. Designed in collaboration with a top spring cup engineer, these springs provide a crisp, firm ride suitable for Pro-Touring, autocross, and spirited daily driving.
The front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi wire with a 600 lb/in rate, while the rears utilize 9254 CrSi wire for a 200 lb/in linear rate. This specific calibration provides superior cornering stability without sacrificing long-distance cruising comfort. These springs are fully compatible with factory-style dampers, including popular performance upgrades from Bilstein and Koni.
