Vibrant 321 Stainless Steel straight tubing is engineered for extreme-heat environments where standard 304 stainless might fail. This 1.50-inch OD tubing is specifically recommended for forced induction applications, maintaining structural integrity during prolonged exposure to temperatures ranging from 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 816°C).
Compared to 304 stainless, the 321 alloy provides superior corrosion resistance and significantly better resistance to tensile stress and stress fractures. This makes it a critical component for fabricating turbo manifolds, downpipes, and other high-temperature exhaust components that undergo intense thermal cycling.
