Vibrant Performance Aramid Reinforced Silicone Hump Hose Couplers are engineered to provide critical flexibility in high-performance intake and cooling systems. By compensating for thermal expansion, engine movement, and chassis vibration, these hump hoses reduce mechanical stress on hard pipes, preventing disconnects and weld fatigue. This specific connector features a 2.75-inch inner diameter and is hand-wrapped with four layers of high-grade silicone for maximum durability.
Unlike standard polyester-reinforced hoses, these couplers utilize Aramid reinforcement fabric between each layer. This allows for an exceptional operating temperature range of -75°F to 392°F (-60°C to 200°C), making them suitable for extreme-duty air, coolant, and water service. The 4-ply construction is designed to withstand high-pressure conditions without swelling or bursting, while the outer surface remains resistant to UV and ozone degradation.
