The Vibrant Performance 11868 CAC (Charge Air Cooler) Transition Hose Coupler is engineered to connect 4.50-inch and 4.00-inch piping while compensating for minor misalignment and isolating engine vibration. Designed for heavy-duty forced induction systems, this coupler features integrated stainless steel reinforcement rings to prevent hose expansion under elevated boost pressures.
Constructed with high-temperature resistant aramid reinforcement fabric layered between premium silicone, this transition hose is rated for both the hot and cold sides of the intercooler system. It is suitable for water, coolant, and air service. The multi-layer aramid construction ensures long-term durability in demanding engine bay environments.
