The Wilwood Combination Parking Brake (CPB) Rear Kit provides a specialized high-performance braking solution for the Honda S2000, integrating hydraulic stopping power with a dedicated mechanical parking brake. This system utilizes hydro-mechanical calipers that use hydraulic pressure for primary braking while featuring an internal mechanical lock for the parking brake function. Designed to complement front big brake upgrades, this kit ensures balanced brake bias and a consistent visual aesthetic across both axles.
The kit is built around oversized 12.88-inch two-piece rotor assemblies. These rotors utilize lightweight aluminum hats to minimize unsprung weight for better suspension response. The drilled rotor surface enhances cooling and gas venting during spirited driving, while the included BP-10 high-friction compound pads offer a reliable bite with low noise and dust.
