The Wilwood High Volume Tandem Master Cylinder (MPN 260-9439-BK) is a lightweight, high-performance solution for manual brake applications on domestic cars and trucks from the mid-1960s to present. Machined from high-pressure die castings, this unit weighs only 3 lbs—providing a 75% weight savings over traditional cast iron OE master cylinders. The 7/8-inch bore and black e-coat finish offer a balance of durable performance and a clean, corrosion-resistant look.
This master cylinder is designed for versatile plumbing with fluid outlet ports on both sides of the bore and accommodates mounting flanges ranging from 3.22" to 3.40". The internal stroke is set at 1.10" with a 2:1 volume ratio between primary and secondary chambers to ensure precise hydraulic control.
