The Zone Offroad Nitro Series shock absorber (ZON7971) is a nitrogen-charged, twin-tube damper designed to provide superior control for both highway driving and off-road excursions. Featuring 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, these shocks react instantly to terrain changes, offering increased damping during high-speed compression while maintaining smooth extension travel. The 50 psi nitrogen gas charge minimizes oil aeration and shock fade, ensuring consistent performance during sustained use.
Engineered for durability, the Nitro Series features a heavy-duty steel alloy body with dual-welded ends and a 14mm hard-chromed shaft. A Fluon-banded piston provides a precision seal against the cylinder wall to reduce internal friction and heat. These shocks are a direct replacement for factory units and include all necessary bushings and sleeves for a bolt-on installation.
