QA1 offers bolt-in Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits for 1964-1972 GM A-body vehicles. These kits include specially designed USA made mounting brackets and single or double adjustable aluminum shocks, high travel springs and all necessary hardware. Single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment while QA1's double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks also utilize a fully threaded body allowing for ride height adjustability. Multiple spring rate options are also available, and have been successfully tested in various applications, from casual street driving to hard core race applications. With our highly popular adjustable front coil-over kits and the addition of the rear coil-over conversion kit, you can now get a complete suspension makeover for both ends of the vehicle. These lightweight billet aluminum coil-over shocks are made in the USA and offer easy, bolt-in installation and ride height adjustability. They are 100% dyno tested and serialized and serviceable and rebuildable by QA1 authorized service centers. Used in drag racing, street performance, autocross, road racing and street rod applications. Conversion Kit Note: Later model vehicles tend to weigh more on average. Please take this into account when ordering springs.

This is the best way to gain a more planted feel, make room for larger wheels and tires and correct the wheelbase of classic Mopars. The kit allows you to run a 3" bumper exit exhaust. This modern design instantly delivers a more modern driving experience on the street while giving you the adjustability to maximize performance at the autocross, road course and drag strip. QA1 Mopar rear suspension systems come complete with powder-coated tubular components-including the cross member, upper trailing arms and lower trailing arms-and all installation necessary hardware. Kits work with popular rear axles including Mopar 8 3/4", Ford 9" and Dana 60 rear ends. Choose the appropriate part number when selecting your kit. Each system includes your choice of single-adjustable, double-adjustable or MOD Series shocks. All of the coil-over options give you the ability to fine tune ride and handling characteristics. This system offers up to 6" of total drop and integrates adjustability into multiple areas so you can truly fine-tune the geometry to create the perfect performance after lowering. , , By converting the coil-spring rear suspension to adjustable coil-overs, the ride height for each corner can be altered for that perfect stance. From there, the tubular steel truck arms feature an integrated pinion angle adjustment, eliminating the need for angled shims and allowing the wheelbase to be set to exact specifications. The adjustable panhard bar keeps the rear centered for more predictable cornering, and the multiple mounting locations correct roll center geometry based on the amount of drop. The coil-overs are also relocated to the outside of the frame rail, closer to the wheel, for better cornering stability and allowing room for popular aftermarket rear-mounted fuel tanks. In addition to being easily bolted on, the entire rear system can be installed without needing to remove the bed of the truck.

QA1's C10 bolt-on rear suspension system is designed to convert trucks originally equipped with a coil-spring rear suspension to coil-overs. This system offers up to 6" of total drop and integrates adjustability into multiple areas so you can truly fine-tune the geometry to create the perfect performance after lowering. , , By converting the coil-spring rear suspension to adjustable coil-overs, the ride height for each corner can be altered for that perfect stance. From there, the tubular steel truck arms feature an integrated pinion angle adjustment, eliminating the need for angled shims and allowing the wheelbase to be set to exact specifications. The adjustable panhard bar keeps the rear centered for more predictable cornering, and the multiple mounting locations correct roll center geometry based on the amount of drop. The coil-overs are also relocated to the outside of the frame rail, closer to the wheel, for better cornering stability and allowing room for popular aftermarket rear-mounted fuel tanks. Once the desired valving is in place, the unique double adjustable design, with adjustable low-speed bleed, allows for fully independent control over the compression and rebound characteristics. With all these adjustability options, the MOD Series shock achieves an expansive force curve capability and an unprecedented level of tunability. The shock also features mounting adjustability to accommodate a variety of vehicles and mounting configurations. The nitrogen-charged canister is available in a piggyback or remote configuration for ease of installation in tight areas, and the base eyelet is indexable, so you can unbolt it and reattach it at the angle you need for the best shock and canister placement. Like all QA1 shocks, the MOD Series shock is 100% dyno tested and serialized and proudly made in QA1's Lakeville, Minnesota facility.
