The AWE Track Edition Exhaust is engineered for the FL5 Civic Type R owner who demands an aggressive, raw acoustic profile. This system replaces the rear 180 Technology® resonator found on the Touring Edition with a Track Edition straight section, resulting in a louder, rowdier mid-range and cruising note. Handcrafted from 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel (.065-inch wall), this exhaust provides a significant 15 lb weight reduction compared to the stock unit.
This system features an integrated 3-inch frontpipe with a unique flange and gasket, ensuring a true 3-inch diameter from inlet to outlet while maintaining a perfect factory interface. Performance is maximized through a stamped stainless steel trident merge that feeds three 4.5-inch double-walled, slash-cut tips finished in Diamond Black. The tips are individually adjustable, allowing for precise depth setting within the rear bumper. With a direct bolt-on design, installation is straightforward and does not require the removal of motor mounts.
