Recommended for competition use only the Competition Rear has three adjustment positions with the softest setting being the more neutral balance. From there the middle setting will really aid the Minis medium to long mid-corner speed where there will not be any throttle feathering needed to turn the car. These shackles are made from .250 in. steel and are finished in gloss black powder coat and includes 1 in. leaf spring bushings. What s really cool about these shackles is the design. The bolts are specially machined by Hotchkis as direct copies of the original shackle bolts consisting of a large machined shoulder that acts as the bushing sleeve and is machined down to lock the opposite shackle plate in position. Many other aftermarket shackles on the market use a bushing sleeve and a smaller bolt to achieve this which reduces strength.
