Dropping a modern LS engine into your 1968 - 1972 Chevy Chevelle is a very popular upgrade. Designed for a speed density and or blade style mass air flow sensor, this system can easily be adapted to a round boot-in MAF sensor with additional couplers and clamps. This air intake system places the air filter on the driver side of the engine compartment. It comes with a heat shield which attaches using existing vehicle mounting points. This Spectre elbow coupler has a 90 degree bend and connects any 3 inch outside diameter component or air intake tube with another 3 inch or 2-1/2 inch outside diameter component or intake tube. The coupler is made from highly durable black PVC and comes with two stainless steel worm gear hose clamps and a 2-1/2 inch removable reducer to adapt one end to a 2-1/2 inch tube. This coupler is a great option where space is limited and an immediate bend will allow the use of an intake system. Not suitable to be installed on pressurized components such as turbocharger or supercharger outlets.

Spectre's Air Duct Hose is designed to attach directly to an airbox inlet, plenum, intake tube or mounting plate with a 3 inch outside diameter to bring cooler air into the engine. Spectre's Header-Collector Reducer kit includes two 3 to 2 1/2 inch header reducers and a set of extra thick 1/8 inch gaskets. The header-collector reducers are nickel plated for a long lasting, great looking finish. These header-collector reducers also have a 3-bolt welded on flange with a 2-1/2 inch reducer pipe to allow you to attach a 2-1/2 inch pipe to a 3 inch flange. The gaskets are compressed of ceramic fiber (CCF), which is designed to exceed typical non-asbestos type gaskets. The CCF is designed to not deteriorate or crack from excessive heat or pressure.
