The two primary functions of sway bars are to control body roll and to determine the understeer or oversteer behavior of a vehicle. Stock sway bars have low torsional spring rates because they are manufactured from small diameter bar stock or tubing. BMR's suspensions SB039 front and rear sway bar kit was designed by factoring in the vehicle weight, application, motion ratio, coil spring rate, and adjustability requirements. Manufactured from heavy-wall 29mm (front) and 32mm (rear) DOM tubing, the SB039 is cold formed to better resist torsional fatigue and retain its "memory" far longer than the hot-formed bars used by many competitors. The sway bar is CNC-formed for exact manufacturing tolerances and repeatable high quality. Thrust washers are welded to the bar to locate the sway bar bushing mounts. This is critical as it properly locates the sway bar and prevents lateral movement during hard cornering maneuvers. The sway bar mounts to the car using polyurethane bushings. These bushings are molded from 88-durometer, low-deflection, polyurethane, and are internally fluted to keeps grease in the bushing. The steel sway bar mounting brackets are reinforced to minimize deflection.

Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your 1978-1987 GM G-body is easy with a Rear Suspension Kit from BMR's suspension. Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMR's polyurethane, non-adjustable Rear Suspension Kit (RSK028) consists of non-adjustable lower control arms, on-car adjustable upper control arms, and control arm reinforcement braces. The lower control arms are manufactured from heavy-duty 1.50-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall, DOM steel tubing, the lower control arms provide all the strength you'll need for any performance application. The upper control arms are manufactured from 1.25-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall, DOM steel tubing, strong enough for any compression load. The center adjuster is CNC-machined from chrome-moly steel with rolled threads for the ultimate in strength and durability. This design gives you a strong control arm that greatly improves performance. The reinforcement braces are made from 1.0-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall, steel tubing to help reduce frame deflection. The upper and lower control arms come with greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings that add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR's bushings are internally fluted, which keeps grease in the bushing, even under heavy load.

A Panhard rod is a suspension link that both locates the rear axle housing laterally and controls side-to-side movement. Factory S197 Mustang Panhard rods are made from weak U-shaped stamped steel with soft rubber bushings that allow excessive deflection under load. BMR's suspensions PHR006 Panhard rod is made 1.25-inch, 0.120-inch wall DOM tubing with TIG-welded chrome-moly tube adapters. The PHR006 features BMR's CNC-machined center adjuster, which is made from 4130 chrome-moly with rolled threads. The PHR006 features greasable, 95-durometer bushings, which add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR's bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve, keeping grease in the bushing under high compression loads. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings. BMR's suspension designed the PHR006 to work well for street performance, drag race, and road race applications. The heavy-duty construction eliminates the deflection seen in stamped-steel Panhard rods. Other Panhard rods on the market include rubber bushings that will deflect under heavy loads. The 95-durometer polyurethane bushings of the PHR006 reduce bushing deflection, giving you much-improved, repeatable handling characteristics on the street, starting line, or in aggressive corners. The on-car adjustable design makes the PHR006 great lowered Mustangs. This gives you all the strength and adjustability you need for great handling without huge increases in NVH. Reduce Wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement on your S550 Mustang with a Level 1 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit from BMR's suspension. Built from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and stainless steel, BMR's CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is designed to reduce cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheelhop. BMR's CB010's billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings capture the inner bushing sleeve (front and rear) and the outer lip of the bushing cup on the cradle (front). The lower bushing locating washers (front) capture the bottom portion of the bushings' inner sleeves. By capturing both parts of the bushings' inner sleeves, movement on any plane (fore/aft, lateral, and vertical) is nearly eliminated. BMR's suspension designed the CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit for any application. This 100% bolt-on kit use existing boltholes and hardware, allowing for easy installation with simple hand tools. Once installed, the Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit reduces bushing and cradle deflection with nearly no change in NVH. (During BMR's testing, no change in NVH was observed without accompanying modifications.) BMR's suspensions CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit allows you yo affordably and effectively lessen wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement. Throughout testing, BMR has seen about an 80%-90% reduction in fore/aft and lateral cradle bushing deflection. A car with no other mods and stock tires that isn't driven overly hard is going to see a 90% or higher reduction, while a more race oriented S550 with sticky tires will see slightly less of a reduction. Launching the test vehicle at over 7,000 rpm on drag radials, BMR'saw about an 80% reduction in bushing deflection. Through the testing BMR has seen a 95% or greater reduction in vertical deflection in all testing situations. When performance is a must, rely on BMR's suspension! Installation time is 1-2 hours. A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.5-inch, 0.095-inch wall and 1.25-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR's suspension. Body roll will be reduced, maximizing tire contact with the road. Shortened transition response will improve initial turn-in making the car more agile and feel lighter. Whether its stability on the track, more rotation on the autocross, or just adding confidence in the canyon, aFe CONTROL sway bars will deliver. Every aFe CONTROL sway bar is CAD designed and CNC bent to strict tolerances. This insures precise fit and perfect operation. Our front sway bar is 2-way adjustable and rear sway bar is 3-way. This allows the driver to dial in the front and rear roll resistance to achieve the desired handling bias. Front sway bars utilize laser cut end plates and the rear is equipped with laser cut arms. These are welded to the bar in a dedicated fixture to insure accurate hole positioning and consistent manufacturing. aFe CONTROL’s end links use PTFE lined Aurora rod ends with high articulating misalignment spacers. These are also length adjustable if you want to adjust out any static pre-load in the rear bar. aFe CONTROL includes low-deflection polyurethane bushings.

The AEM-29-0005 performance strut bar provides additional vehicle stability on various Mini Cooper S models that have the AEM 21-699C cold air intake installed. Control arm bushing kit designed specifically for Zone Offroad Jeep TJ, XJ, or ZJ lower control arms.
