Built in house at WCFab our traction bar brackets weld on to the bottom of the axle tube and weld to the frame on the front end. Grade 8 hardware connects the bars to the mounts on the frame and axle.

UMI’s heavy duty caster and camber plates allow you to make alignment changes that are not permitted with the factory strut mounts. These heavy duty strut mounts are fully TIG welded using ¼” steel and feature a chromoly Teflon lined spherical bearing. The chromoly spherical bearing replaces the factory rubber strut mount bushing. The spherical bearing features a Teflon race which keeps the bearing lubricated and noise free. The UMI strut mounts feature additional adjustment on the mounting plate and the bearing housing allowing the user to make changes for the track and the street. Mounts are also built with increased height to provide additional travel for lowered vehicles.

Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive variable rate coil spring, distinctively a 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a first Flex Rate to a second Ride Rate. First Flex Rate stage of coil spring delivers a comfortable ride with ability to flex / expand during full articulation. This keeps coil springs seated at upper coil mount and tires in contact with terrain. Second Ride Rate stage of coil spring engages after compression past the First Flex Rate. The process starts with SAE9254 spring steel material, an advanced method of shot peening and a presetting process. Each coil spring is blasted (shot peen) with hard steel pellets at very high velocities. Shot peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Compressing the spring completely down to where the coils touch (solid height) is preset. This takes any fatigue or stress off the spring and eliminates sagging. Every coil spring has endured a cycle test to assure the very best in quality. A baked on powder coat provides an extremely durable protective barrier to prevent corrosion.

Skunk2 has done it again. While others are busy imitating our LCA's, Skunk2 engineers have spent years of extensive R & D to revolutionize a product that was once thought to be dialed in. Skunk2 is proud to announce the release of its Ultra Series Lower Control Arms for the '88-'95 Civic/ CRX and '90-'01 Integra. The Ultra Series LCA's are based off of the same technology the company's been using in its own race cars for 20 years. Skunk2's Rear Lower Control Arms are direct replacements, maintain OEM suspension geometry, and are ideal for street and race applications. The Ultra Series Lower Control Arm offers the hardcore racer and discerning enthusiast, the very best of the best. In a market full of 'Me Too' Product, and recycled, annealed lower control arms, we took the Lower Control Arm back to the drawing board. Often not used due to the higher cost, we chose 7075-T6 because of its exceptional strength to weight ratio and fatigue strength. With an ultimate tensile strength of over 78,000 PSI, and fatigue strength of 23,000 psi for 500 million cycles – This is the perfect material for our game changing Ultra LCA's. The result of our hard work is a 7075-T6 Forged Aluminum LCA, that is 19% lighter and 27% stronger than our previous generation of LCA's. Accurate suspension geometry is maintained under the most aggressive driving conditions using high load steel spherical bearings on the trailing arm side and tuned durometer elastomeric bushings for the sub frame side of the LCA. Delrin bushings are utilized at the shock mounting position for their low friction and minimal deflection for unparalleled dynamic shock control. Using this select combination of bushings allows the most comfort and control under any driving conditions. For hardcore race level handling, we have also added the option to replace the sub frame side elastomeric bushing with a high load steel spherical bushing for a no-nonsense track car. The results are a lower center of gravity and race car-like handling, yet smooth, comfortable ride characteristics—the perfect balance between performance and comfort. Skunk2 Lowering Springs are compatible with OEM or aftermarket shock absorbers and look great on vehicles with stock or aftermarket wheels.
