Rounding out the Stage 7 suspension system are 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks specially tailored for the 2022-2025 Tundra. The 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. They also feature a unique internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force to help better control hard bottom outs. Their pairing with the ICON V.S. 2.5 Series front coilovers results in balanced vehicle control from front to rear and an excellent overall driving experience for your Tundra.

This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics’ Toyota Hilux suspension systems have been designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. The varying uses of this vehicle worldwide were acknowledged and catered to in ICON’s research and development process. The Hilux Stage 1 system provides a baseline level of performance that will drastically improve on and off-road vehicle ride characteristics. ICON's Vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks feature a internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties, and ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” throughout the range of travel. These 2.5" coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3” allowing you to level the Hilux front to back, and install a larger tire when desired. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks balance performance of the truck front to rear for a great all-around feel on any terrain. ICON has taken into account the stiffer chassis of the Hilux, realizing a much more robust overall shock tune was required for sufficient damping ability across varying terrains and differing vehicle payloads. This attention to detail is why ICON Vehicle Dynamics performance suspension systems are the ultimate solution for the Toyota Hilux.

The 1996-2002 Toyota 4Runner was an excellent vehicle off the showroom floor over a decade ago, and Toyota’s reputation for reliability and performance continues to draw the attention of both hardcore off-road enthusiasts and newcomers to the “3rd Gen” platform to this day. ICON engineers have assessed the 3rd Gen 4Runner front to back and developed components that work together to extract maximum performance out of the vehicle. With the ICON Stage 3 suspension system on and off-road performance is significantly improved with 2.5 VS Series Extended Travel Remote Reservoir Coilovers and 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks that feature ICON engineered coil springs, vehicle-specific shock valving, FK Rod End bearings, and high-quality CNC-machined components for superior damping and control. The 2.5 VS Series coilovers are height adjustable from 0-3” of lift, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Fully serviceable shock absorbers mean that these components can be rebuilt or re-valved as necessary, providing a long service life and the ability to customize the ride quality for unique vehicle setups. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the Toyota 4Runner with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the serviceable ICON Delta Joint allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. ICON engineered rear coil springs increase rear suspension performance while also providing 1" of rear end lift. ICON Vehicle Dynamics' 1996-2002 4Runner Stage 3 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to drastically improve the performance and handling characteristics of their 3rd Gen on the road as well as in the dirt.

The 1998 - 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series has a compact torsion bar IFS front suspension, and requires a lot of work to be done in a small space. When lift is added via torsion bar adjustment there is even more spring energy that must be absorbed to adequately control the vehicle. Keeping this in mind, those looking to achieve 0-3" of lift (aftermarket upper control required) can install the Stage 2 shock system for maximum suspension travel and performance. ICON engineers have developed a unique 2.5” diameter shock system, with remote reservoirs front and rear, that can handle these demands. 2.5 Aluminum Series reservoir shocks front and rear ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during extended off-road use. With a lower spherical rod end bearing and heavy-duty upper stem bushings, deflection is kept to a minimum for precise control of the suspension even under high loads.
Installation InstructionsInstallation Instructions
- 2.5 Aluminum Series front and rear shocks feature one-piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders for excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finish
- Vehicle specific tuned 2.5" front and rear shocks for superior shock damping and control
- Remote reservoirs provided for extended shock damping performance
- FK rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection
- 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components
- No cutting or welding necessary for install

ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2010-2024 Toyota 4Runner and 2010-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. This Stage 7 system includes vehicle-specific tuned, extended travel 2.5” coilover shocks featuring CDCV equipped remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable for 0-3.5” of front lift over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. Tubular Delta Joint upper control arms not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment specs, increasing caster over stock and allow proper wheel alignment at the lift height this system provides. ICON's tubular steel upper and lower links are much stronger than the OE units, feature a low maintenance multi-durometer bushing, and can be adjusted for optimum pinion angle. ICON rear coil springs deliver on-road comfort and superior off-road performance with 2” of rear lift height over stock for a level stance front to rear. An adjustable rear track bar is included to provide proper rear axle alignment, improve articulation, and ensure fitment on KDSS equipped 4Runners. The 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir rear shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street with adjustable compression damping.
