The 2015- 2021 Golf TSI/GTI/R's and its intercooling system are about to receive a much-needed overhaul with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit. The stock system can be best described as the meat in an intercooler sandwich. It's no wonder with it placed directly between the radiator and AC condenser that this tube-and-fin constructed intercooler has trouble keeping up. Where this lighter core coupled with plastic end tanks might be suited for mass production and tame street driving, it will struggle to keep your intake air temperatures down under more intense driving, especially after the boost is turned up. The Mishimoto 2015- 2021 Volkswagen MK7 Golf TSI/GTI/R Performance Intercooler, armed with an arsenal of cooling technology, takes the place of the stock intercooler. Our engineers were able to squeeze in a larger core, increasing the overall volume by 89-percent over stock and bumping up the external fin surface area by 162-percent. On top of the larger core, our all-aluminum, TIG-welded intercooler features a more robust bar-and-plate construction for better heat dissipation characteristics. In addition, the cast aluminum end tanks are integrated with airflow diverters to ensure use of the full core. In addition to the more robust intercooler, our Performance Intercooler Kit for your 2015- 2021 Golf or Audi A3/S3 includes our Performance Intercooler Pipe Kit. We ditched the stock plastic piping and rubber couplers for mandrel-bent aluminum piping and 5-layer silicone couplers. Our piping increases the air channels to and from the intercooler to 2.75 inches, resulting in a 30-percent increase in flow.When combined, our innovations for the MK7 intercooling system yielded max power gains of 14.5 whp and 13 wtq on the stock tuning. In addition, our charged air cooler dropped intercooler outlet temperatures by 23 F

OEM intercooler setups are not designed to handle the higher levels of boost that come with modifying your turbocharged vehicle.The Mishimoto intercooler and piping kit is designed as an ideal upgrade for the 2.0L Turbo 2010-2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe intercooler.The intercooler and piping kit reduces intake temperatures and increases overall cooling efficiency, resulting in a safe increase in horsepower.Unlike most other aftermarket intercooler kits available, modifications to the front bumper and removal of the crash bar are not necessary, since our kit retains OEM fitment.Included in this comprehensive kit is a polished aluminum, black, or gold bar and plate style Z Line intercooler, a complete set of aluminum charge piping, along with all t-bolt clamps and silicone couplers needed for direct bolt-on installation.The Mishimoto Hyundai Genesis Coupe intercooler and piping kit will fit with the OEM radiator, as well as the Mishimoto Hyundai Genesis Aluminum Radiator.Note: For your taste, only one side of the intercooler has the Mishimoto logo.

It's time to make your cool off your hot-hatch with the Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Kit for the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST. Ford released their 2.0T EcoBoost powered Focus boasting the perfect combination of performance and practicality, however the intercooling system left something to be desired. While the piping did feature sections of aluminum, the restrictive diameter, not to mention the turbo muffler put a damper on the Focus ST?s performance potential. We've replaced the hot-side pipe with mandrel-bent aluminum, both ditching the muffler and also opening up the diameter to allow a 26-percent better flow through the hot-side. All of the degradation-prone rubber has also been swapped for wire-reinforced silicone ensuring a long lasting connection on the hot-side, but also a soother flow through the cold-side pipe. Together the Focus ST Intercooler Pipe kit grants a 21-percent increase in flow to and from the intercooler. The piping isn?t the only part of this kit that increases flow, the bar-and-plate construction opens up air channels within the core allowing for the charged air to pass through more freely than the stock intercooler core. This upgraded all aluminum construction also aids in heat dissipation, warding off the dreaded heat-soak under demanding driving conditions, and delivering properly cooled air through the ST?s intake manifold. BMW has a knack for maintaining their stake as the benchmark when it comes to performance luxury vehicles, with the F8X generation being no exception. The S55 that powers the 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition is dripping with technology, which includes an air-to-water intercooling system for a means of keeping cool. Where BMW's intercooler design was enough to help bring this generation of mid-sized M's to their peak, we here at Mishimoto found some weaknesses that we felt obliged to improve on. We started with the end tanks. The Mishimoto Performance Air-to-Water Intercooler features full, cast aluminum end tanks, TIG welded to our bar-and-plate core for maximum durability as you increase the boost in your Bimmer. Our end tanks also include internal air diverters on both the inlet and outlet to ensure an even flow of charged air through the core. When it comes to the core, bigger is better, and we were able to expand the size of our core in all dimensions, resulting in a 29-percent increase in core volume while abstaining from any modifications when it comes to installation. Our new core also features a unique single-pass internal fin layout for the coolant passage for optimal heat transfer from the charged air to the coolant. With our improvements combined, we saw the Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3 and M4 Performance Intercooler increase flow through the core by 16-percent and recorded a 12 F drop in intake air temperatures when tested with the Mishimoto Performance Heat Exchanger. We also recorded an average increase of 11whp and 8wtq during our testing with peak gains of up to 31whp and 10wtq. This Duramax intercooler is precision engineered with durable cast-aluminum end tanks that resist cracking under high temperatures and boost pressures.The massive 68mm-thick bar-and-plate core is 70-percent thicker than stock and is designed for maximum cooling. In addition, the larger core reduces restriction by over 64-percent compared to the stock intercooler. We've also increased the size of the intercooler inlet and outlet by 6mm and 12mm, respectively, to improve flow even more.Included with this intercooler is an adapter cold-side pipe with DuraCore(TM) boot and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. Two additional bungs on the adapter pipe can be drilled and tapped for sensors or water/meth injection. Offered in Sleek Silver or Stealth Black powder-coated finish, the Mishimoto 6.6L Duramax intercooler, like all our Duramax performance parts, is protected by our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
