The Track Edition shares the same integrated front pipe, bespoke mid pipe resonator, and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®. In place of the 180 Technology® resonator in the rear lies a Track Edition straight section. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid range acceleration and deceleration, and may be too much for many. You've been warned. What if it's too loud after I bought it? What if I want three tips not two? AWE made it easy to convert between Track and Touring Editions, as well as dual and triple tip configurations, if you decide at a later date to change your volume or the aesthetic. Easy. Important notes: The system includes a 3” front pipe that is designed and sized accordingly to mate to the factory downpipe or any downpipe designed to mate to the factory exhaust. This front pipe is integrated into the design of the exhausts. AWE exhausts are not designed to mate with other aftermarket front pipes. We decided to reuse the factory-style flange and gasket for reliability and long-term performance. The factory's double-layer steel gasket design is vastly superior to any aftermarket flat gasket. This design allows for the gasket to be fully captured by the machined groove in the flange, eliminating any possibility of blowout or deterioration over long-term use. Additionally, it is fully serviceable, unlike a flat gasket that can stick to the mating flanges and tear upon removal. Each exhaust comes complete with three 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips available in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, and feature a stamped AWE logo. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. Let's get some sin in that Civic.

Quite frankly, we were shocked at how exotic the 5-cylinder motor became after installing the AWE Cat Back exhaust system. This exhaust unlocks ~8hp at the crank, as well as giving the 2.5L engine a voice that turns heads. There is no interior drone at any RPM and sound volume (interior and exterior) is quite civilized - while still being noticable. The 2.5L Cat Back was designed with performance and longevity in mind, and features mandrel-bent 2.5 inch diameter tubing, thick .065" wall T304L stainless steel, double walled adjustable AWE exhaust tips to reduce heat discoloration, and performance verified on the AWE in house Mustang dyno.

For those who like their volume like their speed (and want to feel the raw nature of the GRC’s potent 3-cylinder at all speeds) the Track Edition features a non-resonated mid-section (i.e. no 180 Technology®). It’s even louder (in & out) than the Touring Edition, while shaving weight and cost. This version is known to get rowdy in mid-range acceleration/deceleration and cruising, and may be too much for some. For this reason, the Track Edition cannot be returned for sound reasons--you've been warned! The Track Edition boasts a 3” T304L stainless steel downpipe-back configuration that brings out an incredibly rowdy and powerful soundtrack that is nothing short of attention-grabbing. AWE designed three, perfectly fitting (and larger) tips for the GRC: one bespoke 4.5" x 8" oval (double-walled, slash-cut tip and stamped with the AWE logo) in the center, and two 5” double-walled, slash-cut tips left and right. No forced block-off plates or quad setups here - just pure GR look, as intended. When it comes to valves, the rumors are true - they don't matter once you remove the backpressure issues of the stock configuration (and you can't open the valve yourself anyway). So we decided to delete them, save weight, drop price, and make the best sounding exhaust available for the GRC. And in case you're wondering, there's a tailored mount right on the exhaust so you have a solid location to bolt up your factory valve after removing the unnecessary organ. This system specifically has a dual 4.5” slash-cut tip setup in chrome silver, but is also available with diamond black tips or as the high-clearance BashGuard™ version. It features equal-length front pipes and a bespoke resonated mid-pipe with AWE's patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®, ensuring a signature exhaust note with maximum comfort on the highway. Designed to accommodate the factory retractable BedStep®, this system also provides ample clearance for driveshaft loops and the gas tank. Fitments are available for both hybrid and non-hybrid models, and wheelbase extensions are included to cover 145.7” and 157.7” wheelbases.
