Changing transmissions, reducing weight, and adding strength to your 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro is easy with a Transmission Conversion Crossmember from BMR's suspension. Swapping transmission in your Fourth Gen F-body means finding the right transmission crossmember, or modifying the one you currently have. This could lead to damage or failure of the crossmember, and possible damage to the transmission. BMR's suspensions Transmission Conversion Crossmembers replace the stock stamped steel crossmember with a strong tubular crossmember that bolts in the factory location and has the correct mount for your new transmission. BMR's Transmission Conversion Crossmember for Camaros (TCC010) are manufactured from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with laser cut, CNC-formed 3/16-inch steel plate. This allows you to put a TH400 automatic transmission in your LS1 equipped 1998-2002 F-bodyBMR's suspension designed the TCC010 to work well in street performance, drag race, and handling applications.
