This ACL High Performance Main Bearing Set is specifically engineered for the high-RPM demands of the Honda F-series engine. Built to handle increased loads and thermal stress, these bearings provide the durability required for performance street and track applications. The "HX" designation indicates this set is manufactured with .001 inch extra oil clearance compared to a standard bearing, allowing for increased oil flow and a more robust hydrodynamic film during high-stress operation.
Constructed with a tri-metal design, these bearings offer superior fatigue strength and embeddability. This kit replaces the factory main bearings and is intended for use in engines where crankshaft and housing bores are at standard specifications but requires additional clearance for oiling performance.
