Fits select 1993-2006 Mitsubishi, Eagle, Hyundai, and Kia models (4G63/4G63T/4G64) including the Lancer Evolution, Eclipse, and Galant. This set is designed for the 7-bolt crankshaft found in 2nd Generation DSMs and Evolution I-IX engines.
These ACL high-performance connecting rod bearings are engineered for race applications and high-RPM environments. The "HX" designation indicates a "thinner" bearing that provides an additional .025mm (0.001") of oil clearance compared to standard bearings. This increased clearance allows for greater oil flow, which helps cool the bearings and maintain a stable hydrodynamic film under extreme loads.
