The ACT BM9-HDSS Heavy Duty Performance Street Sprung Clutch Kit is engineered for drivers seeking increased torque capacity and durability without sacrificing street drivability. This kit pairs ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street sprung disc to provide a significant increase in clamp load over the factory setup. The pressure plate features an exclusive diaphragm design that reduces deflection and maximizes clutch life, supported by a four-stage heat-treating process for consistent performance.
The Performance Street disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials containing high copper content for superior heat transfer. Steel-backed linings are utilized to provide greater burst strength under high-RPM use, while a reduced marcel design enables faster shift action to complement the kit's increased rigidity and reliability.
