The ACT XACT Flywheel Streetlite (600870) is engineered to provide significantly improved engine response and faster acceleration without sacrificing the durability required for daily driving. Unlike multi-piece designs that can suffer from warped inserts or loose hardware, this flywheel features a one-piece forged chromoly construction. This design ensures uniform heat transfer from the clutch disc and eliminates the failure points associated with bolted-on ring gears.
Precision is critical for high-performance drivetrain components. Each XACT flywheel is CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced to ensure smooth operation and reliability at high RPM. The ring gears are induction-hardened for maximum service life, while the entire forging is heat-treated for exceptional toughness in both street and track environments.
