The ACT FF5-XTSS XT/Perf Street clutch kit is engineered for drivers who require increased torque capacity and high-RPM durability without sacrificing street drivability. This kit features the ACT Xtreme pressure plate, which uses a proprietary diaphragm design to significantly increase clamp load while reducing deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent performance and a long service life.
The included Performance Street disc is ACT's most popular friction option, featuring a high-copper organic material for superior heat transfer and a steel-backed lining for exceptional burst strength. To complement the pressure plate, the disc is designed with reduced marcel to enable faster gear engagement. The sprung-hub center helps dampen torsional vibrations, ensuring quieter operation and smoother engagement for daily-driven vehicles.
