The ACT ZM15-HDSD clutch kit is engineered for drivers seeking increased clamping force and improved shifting response without sacrificing street driveability. This kit centers on the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes a specialized diaphragm design to maximize clamp load while reducing deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent performance under high-stress conditions.
The included performance street rigid-hub disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials featuring a high copper content for superior heat dissipation. To ensure durability during high-RPM use, the lining is steel-backed for increased burst strength. The rigid chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for maximum strength, and the disc is designed with minimum weight to reduce inertia for faster, more precise gear changes.
